A Wonderful New Year Ahead

It has been an incredibly busy year that just finished, and I am looking forward to an even more exciting 2026. This is a year in which I am exploring color, texture and the light on the bay where I live, and trying some new (and fun!) techniques. 

I feel so fortunate to live right on the lake, where I can view the light changing all day long, from the first gray light of dawn, until the sun finally sets. And of course, there's plenty of snow here in northeast Michigan to shovel, walk through, and enjoy o the trees. 

Michigan is a beautiful state, and I love painting this beauty. I hope these paintings add some joy to your day as well.
